Research on Monitoring Techniques and Methods for Roof Water Damage of Coal Seam Based on the Distributed Fiber Optic Parallel Electrical Method

Abstract
The underground coal mining environment has become increasingly complex, and the problem of roof water hazards has become more prominent. Accurate and timely prevention and control of roof water hazards have become a difficult problem that all coal mining enterprises must face. Therefore, there is an urgent need for real-time water inrush monitoring and early warning of the coal seam roof water hazard. This paper focuses on the roof water hazard problem in a certain coal mine in the west and uses innovative multi-coupled dynamic monitoring technology to conduct application research on a distributed optical fiber and parallel electrical method-based monitoring system at the mining face. Combined with Internet of Things and intelligent technology, it accurately collects the deformation monitoring data of the “three zones” development and the delamination space during the mining process of the working face. Through the comprehensive identification of monitoring indicators, it studies the development height of the “three zones” and the range of delamination formation of the roof, providing reliable monitoring and early warning information for the prevention and management of roof water in the coal mine working face. It has a strong demonstration effect for predicting and early warning of roof water in the western coal mining area.
